Trekking Challenges Abroad

The Ultimate Wilderness Adventure
Canadian Rockies Challenge

29th September - 6th October 2010

The majestic, unspoilt beauty of the Canadian Rockies provides a fantastic challenge through rugged mountainous terrain.

The incredible scenery to be found in Banff and Jasper National Parks include the spectacular Lake Louise, snow-capped mountains and perhaps even a (distant) sighting of a wild grizzly bear!

This is an 9 day challenge of which 6 days will be spent trekking. The group will fly from Glasgow to Calgary before transferring to Jasper for the start of the adventure.

The trek will be challenging at times and participants will require a reasonable level of fitness. St Andrew's Hospice will organise some practise walks and climbs to assist your training programme.

The group will be accompanied at all times by experienced local guides who will provide advice on safety in the Rockies region whilst also sharing their knowledge of the world renowned National Parks.

To book a place on this fantastic challenge complete the attached tear off registration form and send to the Hospice enclosing a non-refundable deposit of £200. You will then be issued with a fundraising pack to assist you in raising the minimum sponsorship of £3,000.

St Andrew's Hospice has to raise £44,000 each week to meet fundraising costs.
