Information on Payroll Giving
As an employer you are supporting your largest local charity. You can be assured that all profits from the Lottery will be used to allow the continuation and expansion of the vital services already available to those Lanarkshire families who require Palliative care and support. St. Andrew’s Hospice is Lanarkshire’s only Hospice and is open to all, without distinction of race, gender or creed. All services are provided free of charge to the patients. The lottery will provide the main plank of new funding over the next few years.
Playing through payroll
Playing the lottery, by having deductions taken off through payroll, couldn’t be easier. Both for you as the employer and your employees.
We allocate a unique identity number for your company. Each member joining, will be recorded individually with their home address. The total deduction is remitted to the Hospice Lottery account using the unique ID.
The employee is asked to sign a payroll authorising slip, authorising the employer to make payment deductions from their after tax salary. Actual amounts may be deducted to suit your payroll timeframe.
