We are seeking to appoint a Capital Appeal Fundraiser to work directly with the Director of our Capital Appeal for the refurbishment of our Hospice. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care services to the people of Lanarkshire.
The post holder will have responsibility for growing and maximising income from fundraising events, community fundraising & third party events. You will develop new corporate donors & supporter relationships. You will deliver presentations to various groups to raise increased support and awareness of the work of St Andrew’s Hospice and engage new donors as directed. You will also have responsibility for organising and recruiting participants/supporters for allocated events/campaigns and maximising event income.
You will have excellent IT skills with the ability to use all appropriate computer packages including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. You will be familiar with using social media in order to promote & raise the profile of the Capital Appeal. Where necessary you will assist in the administration of events under the direction of the Capital Appeal Director. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative selling events, developing databases and maintain statistics.
