Charge Nurse

Band 6 SAH £28,374 – £38,002 per annum

35 hours per week, over 7 days, 24 hours

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Charge Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit team at the Hospice.

You will be a registered nurse preferably with extensive experience of palliative care. You will provide a professional nursing service by managing and developing the staff and patient care within your team. You will have overall responsibility for the care planning, medication administration and the opportunity to enhance our high standards of quality in person-centred care.

You should be able to advise, mentor and support staff whilst being a role model for appropriate practice.

St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions which require complex symptom management, and/or end-of-life care. It is a specialist hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers. The service is provided completely free of charge for the adult population of North and South Lanarkshire and is open to all without distinction of race, gender or creed.
