St Andrew’s Hospice in Airdrie provides Specialist Palliative Care for up to 120 patients from across North and South Lanarkshire each week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Hospice for a proven staff manager to work as our Community & Events Fundraising Co-ordinator.
You will manage, coach and oversee the fundraising team in all aspects of fundraising activity. This includes monitoring staff income generation and working to income related targets. The team consists of Fundraisers, a Can Collections Fundraiser and the Lottery Admin and Compliance Officer.
You will ensure fundraising income is maximised and developed from: fundraising events/treks, lottery and actively increasing support from community fundraising opportunities. You will prepare and present talks/presentations and encourage donors to undertake fundraising for the Hospice through third party events. You will develop existing and new contacts for income generation and constantly seek ways of generating new ideas/projects to generate income and to also raise awareness of the work of St Andrew’s Hospice.
