Hospice Care Week is an annual week to raise the profile of hospice care across the UK.
Each year, Hospice UK organises a week of celebration and action, which helps to change people’s perceptions of hospice care.
This year’s theme is We Are Hospice Care. ‘We are Hospice Care’ is an opportunity to show the many faces of hospice care and to share the inspiring stories of the variety of people involved in St Andrew’s Hospice. From nurses to volunteers, chefs to chaplains, corporate partners to carers, this theme is about celebrating everyone involved in providing and supporting hospice care.
Throughout the week, we will be sharing individual stories and memories from our staff, volunteers, patients, their loved ones and our supporters across social media.
Get involved! Share our posts and use the hashtag #WeAreHospiceCare
We’d love to hear your experiences, memories and stories of St Andrew’s Hospice too! Share them with us here.
Why not hold your own Hospice Care Week event to help us raise awareness of the work of St Andrew’s Hospice?
From a coffee morning to a quiz – the options are endless!
We’ve even got some materials you can print off and use to help you spread the word:
Be sure to let us know if you do hold your own event and share your photos with us via social media! Our Fundraising Team would be happy to provide you with collection cans, t-shirts or sponsor forms for your event. Contact us on 01236 766951 to arrange.
It’s thanks to the generosity of our supporters and local community that we can continue to provide Specialist Palliative Care Services to the people of Lanarkshire.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
