DESCRIPTION:Throughout the month of May or June\, we would love schools to host a Teddy themed event to raise vital funds for the Hospice. \nIt could be a Teddy Bear’s Picnic\, a Teddy Bear’s Adventure Walk\, Teddy Bear’s Tea Party or any other creative ideas you may have; this can be any type of activity which you think your class would enjoy. \nWe will send you out your very own Hospice Teddy Bear and an educational resource pack with lots of activities and planning materials which link directly to the Curriculum for Excellence. This will enable pupils to discover more about being Responsible Citizens\, Effective Contributors\, Confident Individuals and Successful Learners. \nWe can provide you with sponsor forms for pupils. DESCRIPTION:Wear Yellow Walk\nWednesday 6th May 2026\n \nOur annual Wear Yellow Walk is back for 2026! \nOption 1\nIt gives us great pleasure to invite you and your Primary 7 pupils back to Strathclyde Park for our Wear Yellow Walk – 1 lap around the loch followed by live entertainment. \nIt’s a great opportunity for your P7 pupils to make some memories before heading to Secondary School! \nA buffet will be provided for teachers and everyone will receive their all-important yellow hat on arrival. \nArrival time: 9.30 – 10.30am\nPlease note: You need to arrange your own transport to and from Strathclyde Park. \nOption 2\nHold your own Wear Yellow Walk event in your community or school grounds by completing a sponsored walk of more than 1 mile. We will provide you with a yellow hat\, fundraising pack and a biscuit from event sponsor\, Tunnocks\, for all participants. \nThere is no registration fee to take part in the Wear Yellow Walk but we do ask each participating school to raise sponsorship monies.
