St Andrew’s Hospice is a member of Hospice Lotteries Association. Both organisations are committed to using lotteries to fundraise responsibly and work together to encourage responsible gambling and access support if needed. A copy of our Responsible Gambling Policy can be found here. The ‘Responsibility in Gambling Trust’, ‘GamCare’ and ‘Gamble Aware’ provides such support if required.

In 2020, £934,883 was raised from ticket sales in our weekly lottery, with 8.3% being spent on prizes, 4.1%% spent on expenses and 87.6% used to provide care for people with life limiting illness across Lanarkshire – this translated to a fantastic £818,533.66! (based on the lottery submissions made by St Andrews Hospice to the Gambling Commission, during the 2020 calendar year)
In 2020, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 2,568 in our regular weekly lotteries
