Psychosocial & Spiritual Aspects of Health & Social Care: 23 & 30 June 2022

(An opportunity for accreditation through ‘Work Based Learning’)

Recognise how a person’s physical, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing can be affected by living with life-limiting illness. Working with the person, family and carers to identify and review the outcomes that matter to them, and put them at the centre of their care and support.

Spirituality is concerned with the dimensions of self, others and the cosmos and the ontological questions of life: Who am I? Who are we? Why are we here?

It is acknowledged that spirituality includes whatever gives a person meaning, value and worth in their life. Spirituality and religion are clearly distinguishable.
