Warehouse Manager

SAH Band 4 £25,425 to £28,337 pro rata per annum

35 hours per week 5 days over 7 days

What is the role?

Supporting with and operating a network of 14 charity shops within North and South Lanarkshire. The Warehouse Manager is a vital part of our charity retail supply chain process. Have experience in managing and developing a team. In addition, recruit and manage a volunteer workforce.

Organising stock in a way that can be easily retrieved to distribute to the relevant shops. They will also set up workstations within the warehouse for repair of stock, such as furniture or garments, by volunteers which will enable us to obtain higher value from stock.

What we expect of you?

  • Experience in distribution & logistics
  • Aware of Health & Safety and Manual Handling compliance
  • Computer literate for stock movement and stock processing systems, stock control & emails
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills

St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions which require complex symptom management, and/or end-of-life care. It is Lanarkshire’s specialist hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers.
