Pupils and staff can come and visit St Andrew’s Hospice for a guided tour by a member of the Schools, Colleges and Communities team.
This is always a very enlightening experience for pupils as it gives them the chance to see that their hard-earned fundraising and donations are being put to the best possible use.
The tour starts in our reception area, passing through our cafe, chapel and garden areas and ends with a tour of our education department. It will take between 30 – 45 minutes.
To protect the dignity of our patients and their families, we have to limit our tour numbers to 15 pupils at a time. If you would like to bring a group bigger than 15 pupils, we recommend splitting them into smaller groups and we would offer the tour and an educational talk of your choosing. For a visit like this, we anticipate that you would be at the Hospice for approximately 2 – 2.5 hours.
If you are interested in an individual or group tour, please contact the Schools, Colleges and Communities team on 01236 766951.
