Our Outpatient Services are available to adults living with a life-limiting illness in Lanarkshire.
There are many services available to both patients and carers.
We offer a range of drop in services for patients and/or carers which you can attend without a referral from a healthcare professional. Other services are available with a referral from a healthcare professional.
Due to the current government restrictions, all of our outpatient clinics will be run remotely. This means that all appointments will be carried out via telephone or digitally using NHS Lanarkshire Near Me.
Our wellbeing service is currently suspended. However, our team are now running Wellbeing@Home; a digital service that provides physical, emotional, spiritual and social support through a comprehensive online programme. The programme provides education, exercise and activities to promote self-management and wellbeing. Activities offered include Tai Chi, seated exercise, mindfulness, social interaction and remote Complementary Therapy.
Outpatient staff will also provide telephone/virtual support and advice and signpost patients and carers to other community services provided by health, social care and other third sector agencies.
Usually, all sessions take place in our Outpatient Department.
We have limited availability of transport at the Hospice and request, where possible, that service users travel by their own means. If you require transport, please contact Outpatient Services.
