Applications now open for Enhancing Palliative and End of Life Care Module
Applications are now open for Glasgow Caledonian University’s BSc/BSc (Hons) Professional Studies in Nursing: Enhancing Palliative and End of Life Care Module.
The module is scheduled to commence Monday 29th January 2024 and will be delivered across 12 weeks completely online via the GCU Learn platform.
The module, delivered in partnership with St Andrew’s Hospice, is a Continuous Professional Development module for those interested in Palliative and End of Life Care or working within the Palliative Care sector.
Module Description: This online, blended learning module will introduce students to the concepts of palliative and end of life care, appraising relevant contemporary evidence as part of this learning journey. The care and support of patients with common advanced malignant and non-malignant conditions will also be considered in the context of palliative and end of life care delivery, supporting knowledge and skill development. This helps to ensure that students underpin holistic assessment, shared decision making and care planning with appropriate evidence upon successful completion of the module.
Applications must be completed before Friday 15th December 2023.
