Hundreds turn out for Midnight Walk
St Andrew’s Hospice held its 8th annual Ladies Midnight Walk on Saturday 18th June this year.
Over 600 ladies completed the new route which started at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, walking through Carfin, New Stevenston, Holytown, Mossend and Motherwell.
John Brady Head of Fundraising said “We know that many people go the extra mile to raise money for St Andrews Hospice – in this case 13 extra miles!
“I want to say a huge thank you to our sponsors UIS Underground Inspection Services and all the ladies who took part in the walk to raise much needed income for the Hospice. Such generous support across North and South Lanarkshire is vital in enabling us to provide a high standard of specialist palliative care to the people of Lanarkshire.”
St Andrew’s Hospice would also like to thank its staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the night such a success.
