New measures due to coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we will be implementing new measures as of Monday 16th March which aim to reduce the level of risk to our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers.

To do this, we will be reducing non-essential footfall in clinical areas. These measures will initially be in place for a month and will be reviewed on a regular basis by the St Andrew’s Hospice Senior Management Team.

How will this affect me?

Outpatient Services

All Outpatient Services, including drop-in services, at the Hospice will be cancelled. Telephone support will be provided.

In the case of Medical Clinics for outpatients, we will ask you a series of screening questions on the telephone to determine if it is appropriate for you to attend the clinic in person. If it is not appropriate, telephone support will be provided.

Compassionate Lanarkshire (CLAN)

Our CLAN Co-ordinators, complementary therapists and befrienders will not be making any home visits. Telephone support will be provided.
